3 words that sum up your student years? π
The 3 A's: LEARNING, MEETINGS, PROJECTS.
How did you get started? π
As the grandson and son of entrepreneurs, I grew up with business as a table guest at every family lunch, with its share of good and not-so-good news. After studying business at Bac +2 level, I decided to spend a year abroad as an assistant teacher of French in England. A 1,200 kilometer drive from Poitiers, arriving in a 5m2 room and some wonderful moments of sharing (and sometimes solitude) with students aged 8 to 18! Then the arrival at business school, the feeling of belonging to a group, the desire to discover and take advantage of all the opportunities offered by student life. Love and loyal friendships later, I embarked on a work-study program in the HR department of the Michelin Group. I spent 10 wonderful years in sales and marketing positions in national and international environments, with a role as HR ambassador for Michelin at ESCEM (Excelia, of course).
Starting out as an entrepreneur: a long decision or a no-brainer? π€
On the way back from a business trip, we start chatting on the phone with a friend about our news, aspirations and current state of mind. The conversation goes on and on, and we decide to meet for lunch a few days later to continue the discussion. Lunch goes well, and we talk about our mutual entrepreneurial desires, and our desire for freedom and risk-taking. Then, over coffee on Monday March 1, 2021, Julien suggests we go into business together! An alignment of the planets, that's how I'd define my launch into entrepreneurship.
Life is full of opportunities, which you have to seize, and this was clearly one of them!

Setting up a business: an obstacle course or just a formality? πͺπ»
In our case, we matured and refined the business creation project for over 18 months before the official launch of KAMINO! A long period of time, which allows us to smooth out our efforts and take the time to prepare for each stage of the creation process...but also, and above all, to TEST our offer and ADJUST before launching!
What challenges have you faced? π₯
We started from scratch, building everything from scratch. We developed our own methods and tools. We carried out numerous marketing and communication campaigns to make ourselves known, breaking with the traditional codes of HR consulting.
What inspires you at the moment? β¨
I'm thinking about how KAMINO can contribute to the ecological transition of companies. It's a subject close to my heart! Change will require new business and behavioral skills. Skills development is KAMINO's savoir faire, so we have a role to play in ensuring that companies' practices are sustainable.
